Georgetown Insurance Service, Inc and The Selective Insurance Group Foundation Provide Matching Grants to Toys for Tots
We are excited to announce that Georgetown Insurance Service, Inc and The Selective Insurance Group Foundation joined forces to support the positive efforts of the Montgomery County branch of Toys for Toys through a $1,000 grant. The Selective Insurance Group Foundation is a philanthropic affiliate of Selective Insurance Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIGI).
“When Selective Insurance Group Foundation approached us with a matching charitable opportunity, we couldn’t turn it down. Community service is at the heart of our agency,” said Remmie Butchko, CEO, Georgetown Insurance Service, Inc. “We are proud to once again support Toys for Tots and directly help the kids in Montgomery County.”
The grant represents a $500 donation from Georgetown Insurance Service, Inc, matched by a $500 grant from The Selective Insurance Group Foundation. The grant will help the Montgomery County branch of Toys for Tots’ efforts to give less fortunate children a message of hope, through a new toy, at Christmas.
“At Selective, Response is everything®… and this includes responding to the communities where we live and work to give back and help those in need. Together with Georgetown Insurance Service, Inc, we are proud to support Toys for Tots and its efforts to make a difference in the community,” said Chuck Musilli, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, Distribution Strategies, Selective.
Georgetown Insurance is also a Toys for Tots drop-off location during the winter toy drive. During the last drive, the company raised 360 toys and additional cash donations for the charity.
